Well, it's Christmas time/ holiday season, so that means gift cards! And buying gifts for others, of course. So I'm dedicating this post to some gift ideas, whether it's buying for others or yourself. Not for me, but I am a bit biased in that they are things I like....Price range varies.

Well, it's that time of year! Christmas time! That also means, time to watch some annual festive classics....

Now, as fun as it is to ‘hate on it’ for the sake of disliking something because it’s popular, and cherished by females, I dislike it for actual reasons. A good part of the reason is “Why is it so popular? It’s not even good!” I’ve read all four books. I know what Midnight Sun is. I’ve seen the first film. So yes, I have a good amount of experience with the ‘phenomenon’, which allows me to write this post and share some opinions on it. They are aimed at teenage girls, and I'm a guy in my 20s. Nevertheless, my thoughts...

Hey all, sorry for the delay. Things have been a bit busy lately. No, nothing is new or out of the ordinary, one of those times were the week isn't long enough, by it through too short days, or not enough days in it. Anyway, the topic of my post is Harry Potter . When I first started blogging again, I gave a list of fantasy books and series to look into. Well, this post delves further into one of them - The Wheel of Time .

The name of this post works both ways - you can call it "live music" (pronounced 'lyve'), or "live music (pronounced 'liv').

Well here we are! Another year at a close in a few months. That means, 'Oscar Season' will be starting soon.  In this post, I'll take a look at the upcoming films I want to see by year's end.

So this entry is about festival / small / independent movies. Not the movies themselves, but rather how they have weird titles, or ones NOT associated with the subject matter. One example comes to mind. It's a documentary about the American education system called "Waiting for Superman". Ummm...hello? There's nothing 'Superman' about the film! Someone who sees the movie title (and not the trailer or poster) would think it's a superhero film, but no.... ( see link here: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/b5/Waiting_for_Superman.jpg ) Two other examples are purposefully misspelling movie titles: Inglourious Basterds & Pursuit of Happyness. What's the aim here? So I ask you - are people naming their films, be it misspelling, giving it a title not related to the subject matter, or one with more 'oomph', trying too hard to sound artsy & intelligent?

Well, it's been a while since my first (original) post. I'm trying again, and this time, I'm doing it as a list of some fantasy series to check out, for those that like reading them. Without further ado...
